The Women Leadership Institute Network, Delta State Chapter celebrated the International Girl Child day with the students of JASMINE CHILDREN SCHOOL, Asaba. The NTA Channel 11 covered the event and it was glorious. The students were at their best with the members of the School's Management team at their peak. Snacks, drinks and sanitary towels were distributed to them.
There were speeches on our National Coordinator, Hon. Ambassador (Dr). Kema Chikwe, on late Dr. Dora Akuyali, Michelle Ubama, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iwuala and many others. There was equally drama presentation.
In same vein, State coordinator and members of the WLIN Cross River State chapter in partnership with the coalition for the promotion of Gender justice celebrated the International day of the girl child at Government Technical College today, 14th October. This also served as an avenue to introduce the Girl’s leadership circle to the school. It was an interactive and impactful time out with the girls
