Amb. Dr. Kema has served Nigeria with distinction at the highest levels of public service and leadership. She made history as Federal Minister of Transport (1999–2001) and later as Federal Minister of Aviation (2001–2003), breaking barriers as one of the first women entrusted with these critical portfolios in Nigeria’s democratic era.

Her visionary leadership extended beyond public office. She has been a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and political inclusion, serving as National Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and inspiring countless women to pursue leadership roles.
