Rise & Thrive: Women Leadership Institute Hosts Inspiring Work–Life Balance Event.

The Women Leadership Institute (WLI) successfully hosted its colourful and impactful “Rise & Thrive” networking event , creating a relaxed and empowering atmosphere for leading women, young ladies, and professionals. The event brought women together to explore practical strategies for work–life balance, self-care, and personal growth.

Held in the city of Abuja, the programme attracted women from diverse fields who were eager to learn, connect, and share ideas on how to navigate leadership, career demands, and personal life with confidence. The vibrant dress code, “Radiant in Red,” added energy and elegance to the event, making it visually outstanding and emotionally uplifting.

The founder of WLI, Her Excellency, Amb. Dr. Kema Chikwe delivered a compelling speech through zoom that set the tone for the event. She encouraged participants to invest in their personal development and embrace leadership with courage and clarity.

In addition, the Keynote Speaker Dr. Mrs. Ruth Aimuan, co founder, Philomath University, Abuja Inspired Women on Self-Care and Balance. She spoke on practical ways women can maintain balance while managing work, family, and personal responsibilities. She emphasized the value of self-care, rest, and renewal, encouraging women to create healthy routines that support long-term success.

Her insights added depth to the discussion on work–life balance, making the session both educational and empowering.
