On the 30th of June, 2022, The Women Leadership Institute celebrated her 5 years Anniversary as a Non Governmental Organization, applauded for her roles in Women development, capacity building and training. The Institute was established in 2017 and anchored by Her Excellency, Amb. Dr. Kema Chikwe, a voice to reckon with in the leadership and political climate of Nigeria especially as it affects women.
The event which was held at the Women Development Centre, Abuja also witnessed a large turnout of women across the Country as they The Women Leadership Institute Network (WLIN) was also launched.
The Women Leadership Network is a non-profit international leadership development organization that provides a professional and non - partisan platform for women in Nigeria and across Africa to develop their leadership capacity, equipping them to take on political and economic positions in all sectors. The network is non-political, non- sectoral and non-religious. This WLIN is intended to grow a critical mass of women in leadership at all levels and in all socio-economic and political sectors.
